Create, review and promote a change set
Use a named change set for one routing change or a closely related group of changes. Keep the live configuration as the comparison point so reviewers can see which customer path will move.
After promotion, send a synthetic message for each affected path and confirm the Inbox, Team and fallback behavior. If the result is wrong, pause the change and correct the sandbox instead of editing several live rules at once.
Open the Configuration sandbox available to your workspace and create a named change set for Routing.
Edit the routing draft, then review each changed path in the diff instead of editing the live route at the same time.
Promote only after the diff is correct. Resolve a conflict in the live configuration first, then create or update the change set again.
